As we near the end of the year, we would like to recognize our donors and their generosity throughout the year. You've continued to demonstrate a strong philanthropic spirit by maintaining and establishing new funds, and recommending hundreds of grants to local nonprofit organizations.

In an effort to assist you with carrying out your end-of-year philanthropic goals, please see below for deadlines regarding year-end giving activities:

STOCK AND CASH GIFTS (check, wire, online) submitted to the Community Foundation by Dec. 31 will be earmarked as a 2023 contribution. Note: The gift must be in the Community Foundation's account by Dec. 31 to be eligible for a 2023 tax deduction.

ONLINE DONATIONS to public funds through our online donation platform must be made on or before Dec. 31 to be eligible for a 2023 tax deduction. If you wish to make a donation to your individual or family fund online, please contact Kelly Dix at kdix@givewesterniowa.org for your unique donation link.
